Who we are
This website is run by Viet An International Investment (VIET AN INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT COMPANY LIMITED), which decides how the personal data described here is used. You can reach us at info@vietaninvest.com, or at export@vietaninvest.com for export and partnership inquiries.
What we collect and why
Inquiries: when you send the contact form, we store your name, company, country, email address, business type and message, together with your consent and when you gave it. We use them to answer your inquiry and to discuss a possible supply or partnership with you. Our export team is told of each new inquiry by email.
Newsletter: when you sign up in the footer, we store your email address, together with your consent and when you gave it, to send you news and product updates by email.
Protection against abuse: with each form submission we keep a one-way fingerprint derived from your network address, so repeated abuse can be recognised. The address itself is not stored.
We only collect these details when you choose to send a form, and only after you tick its consent box.
Page views without cookies
We count how often each page is read, to learn which information is useful. The count uses no cookies and stores no network address, browser details or visitor identifier: only the number of views per page and day is kept.
The map on the contact page
The contact page shows a map from OpenStreetMap in an embedded frame. When the map loads, your browser connects to the OpenStreetMap servers, which receive your network address and technical details of your browser. OpenStreetMap handles them under its own privacy policy.
Who can see your data
Your inquiries and signups are available to our staff who handle them. They are stored with the provider that hosts this website for us.
How long we keep it
We keep an inquiry for as long as we need it to answer you and to follow up on any business relationship that results from it. We keep a newsletter signup until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by writing to info@vietaninvest.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect what was done before.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when the website or the way we handle your data changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
